Natural Dye Club by Dianne Hricko

Please check out the link below for the amazing group show from the Dyers Club that my daughter, LauraVHricko linktr.ee/Lauravhricko is part of. These artists are from a wide variety of fields. They meet once a month to study and promote natural dyeing and working with fabric.

The show is so beautiful and also educational. The link has lots of photos and useful information.

It's open now if you are in Philadelphia.

Snorkeling Inspires

"Under the Sea."  Many wonderful snorkeling experiences inspired this collage by Adria Sherman.  Akua inks were used to create monoprints on Asian papers and sections of the collage were embellished with acrylic markers. 9.5"L x 13" W

Judy Langille is "Boxed In"

Boxed In by Judy Langille

From Art Cloth Network member Judy Langille

I visited an Italian palace built in the 15th century. It was constructed using 8,500 white marble tetrahedrons. Their carving and positioning created the light and shadows reflected on this building that I was so taken with.

My immediate fascination with the stories within these stones allowed me to look closely and inspired this piece of 3-D work.
